Karma Police
Have you done something bad? Lost some major karma points? Here’s your chance to earn them back! Simply hit up the Karma Police website and anonymously confess your sin. Other users can then view your confession and vote on an action that they feel is an appropriate penance for you to perform to restore your karmic balance.

Example: “I spilled my drink on a sofa during a party and instead of cleaning it, I just flipped the cushion over”

Options:
- Make a $50 donation to a local non-profit
- Buy a drink for the person behind you at Starbucks
- Say hello to 5 random people
- Call your mom

Users would vote on the “punishment” they feel best fits the crime. After 1 week, the votes would be tallied and the “sinner” would receive their karmic sentence.

Of course, this could also be done as a FB/OS widget

Of course, this could easily be a FB/OS widget.

I like this idea a lot. Does anyone know if Yelp or a site like that has an API? If so, would be very cool to pull data from them, basically "Give me all restaurants above a 3 star rating that are within 5 miles of location X"

I just checked out their site and got excited about this idea. I just gave a talk on promoting non-profits via Facebook and recently worked on a FB app to get charitible donations, so I can share some of my experiences around that. Here are some ideas:

1 - Create a "virtual currency" service that can connect widget makers with tisbest. This way, widget makers who are looking for a way to give out incentives to users can give them tisbest best cards instead of cash. This might work well for a new crop of non-profit-based widgets like the Dank App's "Social Change" or one of the many "Free Rice" knock-off apps.

2 - Build an Open Social app for Linked In to promote this as a gift for corporations. To me, a sweet spot for tisbest is corporate gift giving (aka boss giving employees a xmas gift, conference giving thank you gifts to speakers).

3 - Another thought around this corp concept is to help tisbest build a bulk email uploader, so if say Microsoft wanted to give these to a team who shipped a product, they could do so very easily.

I like the posibilities here - 6 or 12 sided die idea is awesome, but not sure how it would be used. Would something like a magic 8 ball work in this context?

I think this is a really interesting idea, actually. I'm not sure that a straight implementation of "Worst Friends" would fly, but if you made it really tongue-in-cheek it might. "Boring Wall" is awesome.
